Hi, my name is John Mejia and I am proud to be a part of Winland Realty Group. As a proud first generation American, I’m grateful for the lessons I have learned and as well as the ones I have taught. Since I was a kid, my mother instilled in me the meaning of hustling, working hard, and discipline. With those characteristics, I have applied them to everything I do from school to sports and jobs in the past. Growing up in Durham and soaking in the information that was given to me, two things stood out the most: hard-work and always giving a helping hand when you can. Everyone that really knows me knows how hard I work for the dreams I want, and knows how much I like to help others. That is what I want out of being a real estate agent. Working hard to help other people find their perfect home.
I’ve been interested in real estate ever since a young age. It started when the Contreras family helped my family find our home back in 2015. Ever since then, I saw how much a real estate agent can help a family just by helping them buy a house. Thankfully since then I’ve been in contact with the Contreras family and, a year ago, I was given the opportunity to shadow Mynor Contreras. I gained a great perspective on what it is to be a real estate agent, and working in this field became more appealing. I have seen what it truly means to be a good real estate agent – to always look for your clients best interest, to share any and all the information you can with your client, to make sure you always keep a great relationship with them, and more. With that knowledge, I plan to do the same with my clients. Giving them the best quality of customer service I possibly can, because that is what any client deserves. Thankfully, Winland Realty Group shares the same passion and beliefs I do when it comes to client care. It is truly a blessing working with such a firm, because of the opportunity I get from learning from other agents and what it takes to make it in this industry. Outside of being a real estate agent, I spend my time with my family and friends, cooking, playing sports and exploring new places around North Carolina.
